Competitions where coaches choose your events

Select session availability​

To enter a competition where you must select session availability;

  • Navigate to the competition you want to enter
    • Select Competitions (V2 & Guest) from the Galas section of the main menu
    • Search or look through the list of competitions. They are ordered by newest first
  • Select Enter now
    • If the Enter now option is not available to you, the competition is not currently open for entries. Please check the closing date.
  • If you have multiple members linked to your account, you'll be asked to choose which member you want to make an entry for
  • You'll be shown a list of sessions for the competition and the events available to the selected member. Select the sessions you are able to enter and press save. There is nothing more you need to do at this stage.

When coaches have selected your events​

Once coaches have selected your events, you will receive an email notification telling you which events they selected, and what you need to do next.

Further required actions​

Next actions may include;

  • Supplying times. Some competitions are unable to get times from the British rankings. In this case you'll be asked to provide times for each event.
  • Making payment. If your club requires you to pay by card for competition entries, you may need to do this before the competition entry is processed.

Amending your entry​

After selecting events, coaches have the option to

  • Lock an entry, so you can't make changes to the selected events. If they don't lock the entry, you'll be able to make amendments before it is processed.
  • Allow you to veto an entry, if they have locked it. This allows you to refuse all selected events.

Making payment​

Payment options vary by club.

If your club requires payment by card​

  • Repeat the entry process if you have other competitions or members to make entries for
  • Head to the payments page to select competition entries to pay for - you can pay for multiple entries at once

If your club only charges for competition entries by Direct Debit​

There's nothing else you need to do.

If your club lets you choose how to pay​

Follow the instructions for payment by card, or there's nothing else you need to do.
